FOR the first time in his music career, artiste Ofori Amponsah, a.k.a Mr. AU 4 Real, will raise the roof of the National Theatre in Accra as he performs in his own major concert on December 30.
The show, dubbed “Changing Face Concert”, is not only expected to showcase the best performances of the contemporary highlife star but would also depict his development from one level to another in his 10 year music career.
Ofori Amponsah, 32, will prove that his days of miming are over as he “gets down” non-stop with a 24- man live band for an hour and half.
Fans that turn up at the National Theatre at 8 pm will have their cool rate of 300,000 cedis worth as the “All 4 Real” man shares the stage with artistes like Wutah, Praye, Kwaisey Pee, K. K. Fosu, Kofi Nti, and Tema Youth Choir among others.
Come December 30 , not only will people witness Ofori Amponsah in a totally different light but would also have a chance to see their favourite hiplife and highlife artistes singing their own songs as well as songs of other musicians.
History will be made that night, and every other night of December 30, as Ofori performs songs from the six albums which have won him numerous awards.
The “Changing Face Concert”, organised by Dee Squared, 4reez Westside Entertainment and Peace FM, is sponsored by Coca Cola, Rhino’s Energy Drink, Charter House, Joy FM, Hot FM, Citi FM and Mont Carlo Grand Cafe.
