An album entitled ‘Asomdwee’ by a gospel duo called Open Doors comprising of Mary Boamah and Phillipa Owusu, founded by Honnah Kessei will be launched at the St Paul’s Catholic Church in Amakom, Kumasi.
In a telephone chat the ladies backed by Jewel Ackah affirmed they were in high spirit and will lift the name of God in their praise songs.
The venue is expected to definitely rock.
Jewel Ackah, noted for his unique vocal skills, a velvety voice which he is divinely blessed with is expected to perform as a guest artiste.
The album is a collection of nine beautiful and juicy tracks which includes “Begye wo aye yie’, a praise track couched in a high life rendition.
Another track ‘meye me yem’ is connotative of God as a pillar of strength, refuge and as redeemer who deserves all thanks for his support and grace. This is casually laced with a reggae beat.
Ghana music enthusiasts who will be in Kumasi by 6th May should make it a point to join them at the launch of this album.
