Hiplife originator and founder, Reggie Rockstone is set to drop a new album this year. ‘The best of Reggie Rockstone remixes and more, golden jubilee edition’, which will come with a ‘life of Rockstone DVD’ is to be released in September.
This follows a two-year executive production deal Reggie signed with Black Avenue Works Entertainment Group.
The Hiplife grandpapa inked the deal with music business entrepreneur and artist Desmond Blackmore known in showbiz as D-Black and business partner Ms Francesca Doe, directors of Black Works Entertainment Group.
The album is a remix of twelve Reggie Rockstone hits over his twelve-year long career in Hiplife. The album also contains five brand new exclusive bonus tracks produced by Ghanaian and Nigerian Hiphop producers.
The album features a number of international artists including Beenieman, D’banj, 2face and Sway. Rockstone did collabos with the MOBO award-winning Samini, Nat Brew, Nyega, Kweku T, D-Black, Sena, Obrafuor, Tinny, Mobile Boys and K.K Fosu.
It’s an album expected to be a culmination of Reggie’s life works and effort over the years.
“Growing up to Reggie’s music and being his close friend for so long puts me in the position to tap out Rock’s best.
I’m about to do what all the other music producers and investors in this industry failed to capitalize on concerning Rock’s musical career. World, here Rockstone comes,” says D-Black.
