Goodies Music Production is set to launch a project dubbed, “Reformation and Rehabilitation Project” to help prisoners acquire the needed skill before coming out of jail.

The project will liaison between Goodies Music Production and the Prison Services for the Prisons to train inmates in the various handiwork and crafts whiles they are in there.

“The idea of the project is to help stem the tide which has been with us for sometime now that inmates come from the prisons more hardened than before”, Isaac Abeidu – Aidoo, the Managing Director of Goodies Music noted.

According to Mr. Abeidu – Aidoo, the project will cost 5 billion cedis and they are expecting it through fund raising. The project will start with the Nsawam Prisons. “This will trickle down to other prisons around the country”, he said. Goodies who is bent on achieving this feat has started some talks with the Prisons Services and hopes to conclude the deal soon.

This is not the first time Goodies is embarking on a project of such nature. “Aside producing most musicians who are stars in themselves, we go beyond such to do others”. Mr. Abeidu – Aidoo won the Best Poultry Farmer in 2003, he also won the best Youth Organizer the same year. He is also a Commissioner for the Boys Scout Movement.

Goodies was the official entertainment handler of Indutech 2005. “We organized and provided all that which constituted to make the program a success. The same year 2005, Goodies was given the rights by the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) to handle the entertainment aspects of Ghana for Gold

Goodies has now been billed to help with Beijing 2008, another program to be championed by the GOC. Currently Goodies is affiliated to Pot Mayo Record Label in the U.S and sole their representative in Ghana. In Nigeria, he is affiliated to Kennis Music Production. Goodies is happily married with three beautiful kids.
