The trills and excitement that climaxes the eviction ceremony on the Mentor Reality Show on TV3 always adds another bite to the Show.
Mentor 2 Star, Anita’s collapse, K-Gee’s dramatic fall on stage when he was told he was staying for the next round and Nana’s sudden outburst for all Mentor Lovers to remain truthful and loyal to God no matter what comes their way testifies to the fact that; the boys are mentally, emotionally and physically stretched when they are assembled for eviction.
On a night dubbed as the ‘Old Skul Nite’, the contestants who were all dressed in 1970’s and 80’s clothing were all equal to the task as their performances were judged to be an improvement of the previous weeks.
As it has been the case for Mentor 3, the critics have been hard on the organizers and other stakeholders on the Show to do something to improve the quality and match up to the standards set by Mentor I and 2. Without doubt the standard of Mentor 2 would take quite a while to be equaled as well as the fun and excitement of Mentor 1.
Anita, the presenter, looking very splendid in her outfit showed why she was picked for the “Studio 53” job as she proved her best to add more tension and nervous moments to the night. She managed to sweep K-Gee off his feet and swallow his tongue as he for once thought he had been evicted.
On Saturday the first female from the Eastern Region and also the first evictee (not considering the way Bright left) of Mentor 3 had a good time with her friends, fans and loved ones at the Oceans Nite Club at Tesano. She looked very delighted though she couldn’t get far.
In an interview; she expressed her appreciation to the organizers for the opportunity granted her and she hope to build on it to enable her come out her maiden album which she hinted was not far from been produced. She is looking forward on going back to the House as the sixth eviction night would be used as an opportunity for all the previous evicted Housemates to get the chance of grabbing the sole ticket of going back to the House to get a second chance of winning the coveted award.
Mentor fans and readers alike would call that the ultimate winner of Mentor 2, Prince, had a similar fate when he had to fight back from been evicted to be re-instated and fighting on to win the crown. So to Nana and Gina the race for the Mentor crown is not yet over. And like Anita always says; been evicted does not bring to an end once musical career.
The eviction party for Nana is at the “Home of Eviction Parties” – The Yegoala Nite Club in Dansoman. Fans and friends of Nana would get the chance to interact with their “Mentor”. Mentor 3 is proudly sponsored by Tigo; Tigo the new cellular experience. The short de for voting is still 888. Who leaves the House next week? Stay tune!!!
