The funeral of the late Olla Williams was held last week Saturday at the Action Faith. A large crowd made up of musicians, actors, politicians, media men and family members, church members, old friends and national volley ball team, and sympathisers gathered to pay their respect to their friend, companion and brother.
Clive Mould preached for the service and he had support from The Archbishop of Christian Action Faith Ministries International, Nicholas Duncan Williams, Bishop James Saah, resident bishop and a lot of pastors who were in attendance. Rev Orko Adjei emceed the service
The Rev John Teye school band was in attendance and they play some melodies hymns when the casket was been taking away to the cemetery which left many whaling. With the wake keeping at the family house near Ga Mantse Palace on Friday, the sad atmosphere at the church on Saturday told the degree of how the late William’s would be missed. The Archbishop wept so much that the crowd couldn’t help but to cry with him.
Some of the popular figures who passed through to pay their last respect included Stella Seal, Rev Yawson, Tagoe Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Joe Becham, Pozo Hayes, Collins and Ophelia Nyantekyi and many more.
He was buried at the royal cemetery at Bubuashie. He left behind a wife and 2 children. He was 47 years of age and he had married some 6 months ago.
