Fans of Kojo Antwi who didn’t have the chance to see him to his own thing at the just ended Ghana as one Gala night organized in Accra, still have a second chance to make it this time around in the Central Region.

The University of Education, Winneba will host the maestro Kojo Antwi at the South campus to do a live performance on Saturday, March 31, 2007.

The event perhaps the biggest in the annals of the university is expected to attract hundreds of personalities from all walks of life. It will also bring onto the same stage some the nation’s finest musicians who will perform along side the maestro.

The fundraising concert which is being organised in support of musical instruments and gadgets for the training of students in the music department of the school also forms part of activities making the country’s 50th Independence anniversary celebration.

It is also to thank God for the prosperity of the nation.

So far, the music department of the University has started a series of training and partnership programmes with musicians in the country to develop the creative capacities of students and equip them with the needed skills.
