A group of musicians have appealed to the Tesano Police to prosecute one Kennedy Antwi aka Super, a car battery dealer who stabbed a musician, Osei Danquah aka Pasco Abrantie twice in the throat on Saturday July 5 at Live Drinking Spot at Abeka Lapaz in Accra.
According to them, the accused, Kennedy Antwi intentionally stabbed their colleague without any provocation so he should be made to face the law.
The group was of the view that the accused had wanted to murder Osei Danquah but did not succeed in his attempt.
They described their colleague’s injuries as “horrific” and feared that it would take the victim, who is currently receiving treatment at the Achimota Government Hospital, months to recover.
The victim who was bleeding profusely after the incident was rushed to the Achimota Government Hospital, after a report had been made to the Tesano Police.
Antwi is currently on police enquiry bail and after investigations he would be processed for court.
Beatwaves learnt that the victim, for the past months, had received threats from the accused without any provocation.
Antwi, who was bent on causing harm to Osei, on Saturday July 5, actually attacked the victim while he (Osei) and his friends were relaxing at Live Drinking Spot.
“Antwi started attacking me verbally and an attempt to stop him from further verbal attacks proved futile as he intentionally stabbed me in the throat twice with a broken bottle,” the victim recounted.
After the incident Antwi was reported to have been going round boasting that what he did to Osei was just the beginning of more things to come and that he does not fear the police.
